Winter League

The MADE Hoops Winter Circuit is back once again, and more anticipated than ever.  With the Lea8ue now being in its 4th year of existence, we look forward to the Class of 2022 getting MADE and playing the most competitive basketball yet, before they move on to the high school ranks.

The Lea8ue has seen nothing but the best talent in the past three years.  Team CP3 (2019), Team Takeover (2020), and the NY RENS (2021) all showed why they were the best teams in the country.  The fourth year sets the stage for a battle royal amongst 20 teams in the 8th Grade division.

The Lea8ue continues to aim at exposing the absolute best 8th Grade talent along the east coast, and prepare them for the high school ranks. Some Lea8ue alum go on to play Varsity basketball in their freshmen seasons, and some make bigger impacts than others, even as much as helping their teams win divisional, city, and state titles.  We’ve seen things come full circle in the past few years with players getting early Division I offers and more national recognition.  We are proud to help and trigger that process during these rising young talents’ 8th Grade seasons through our level of exposure, competition, organization, and development.

MADE Hoops is also proud to extend these same efforts to 7th Graders as well.  While some exceptional 7th Grade talent does play up in the Lea8ue, last year we decided to hold an entirely separate 7th Grade 7eague for true 7th Graders and exceptional 6th Graders playing up.  This enables the younger middle school talent to gain more experience in this circuit style tournament, and get ready to finish their middle school careers with a bang once they hit the Lea8ue and give it all they’ve got.  It’s a perfect system which allows the players to grow and develop properly, while being in the same facility as the 8th Graders and also being able to see and guage where they will be and have to be the following year.

Last but not least is a further look into the future.  Our Futures division, which originally was the 7th Grade division (with some 6th Grade), now harnesses some of the best 6th Grade Talent across the country.  Last year teams like Team Final and Team United highlighted the Futures, and now they will be gearing up for the 7eague this winter.  It gives us and everyone else a glimpse into the future, and gets the young talent we are pinpointing even more acquainted with and ready for the MADE circuit and level of competition.

Our Futures division Championship will be in March, but stay tuned for future updates and possible additions before so.

“This is a stay and play event.”  We have partnered with PYB Sports to assist with the hotel selection and reservation process.  We thank you in advance for booking your reservations through PYB Sports and supporting our local hotel partners.  Please click on the picture to the left for a list of properties, amenities, rates and other information. All teams requiring hotel accommodations are required to book rooms through PYB Sports.  Using this service ensures that room demands can be met from year to year and allows PYB to offer the added protection of "no hotel cancellation fees" in the event that the tournament is cancelled in its entirety, by tournament officials, due to severe weather.
