With programs finalizing their rosters, there’s remains a number of promising international prospects available. I’ll be breaking down some of my favorite prospects who are interested in College Basketball.

1: Yuhyeon Moon | 6-2 Guard | Born 6/8/2004(19 years old)
Moon is a small guard who provides a lot of value as a 3PT shooter with playmaking chops, does feel smaller than 6’2 but is a lethal shooter—Shot 38.6% from 3 on 5.1 attempts per game in U19 World Cup last year. Moon is also a strong playmaker and defender, Moon led the WC in steals and is a wired defender. Right now Moon finished his first year in College in South Korea, which was the same as Jun Seok Yeo who ended up going to Gonzaga and was granted 3 years of eligibility. Moon provides value to teams in need of a small wired guard.

2: Neoklis Avdalas| 6-7 wing | Born 2/4/2006
Neoklis is one of the more exciting prospects in Europe, the 6 ‘7 G/F has a unique blend of athletic upside, skill, and vision. There are not a lot of players in D1 quite like him, but still have ways to go, viewed as a legit NBA draft. Really think the best aspect of his game right now is his playmaking chops and tools. Right now Neo is looking for a new spot for his development as he pushes himself in prep for the 2025 NBA Draft

3: Jon Ismajli | 6’5 Guard | Born 12/23/2005 (18 years old)
6 ‘5 2024 Jon Ismajli would be a great pickup for any program. High IQ PG, with comfortable shotmaking ability, a confident game, and just knows how to play. It is clear he has a knack for scoring but has good positional size and craft that makes him a value PG. Jon Finished a strong senior season after a great FIBA U18.

The 19 year old has consistently thrived in the Fiba setting usually playing up his age group He’s a terrific off-the-dribble shotmaker, crafty, a solid playmaker and a high-level defender Shooting 47% from deep will be key moving forward. Skilled scorer with a promising feel.

2024 6 ‘2 Aleksandar Gavalyugov is one of the better international prospects available for CBB Smooth game, he’s a flashy yet effective lead guard who has an array of moves in his bag to create advantages for himself. Selfless as well, but scores first Hard not to like his game, strong footwork, and instincts.

6’7 2024 Ognjen Stankovic is one of the best youth playmakers from anyone 6’5 or taller Ognjen averaged 22/6/4 at the ABA U19 event earlier this year High-level feel, a really solid athlete, efficient finisher around the cup and growing shooter. Makes a lot of sense from a development standpoint, high upside, big sleeper.

2024 6’1 Romell Russell is a good one looking to be a 13th man at any D1 He averaged 21.5 PPG in Canada’s top HS league He’s got a great handle and shot making ability, also an unreal finisher, shooting 64% around the cup Had 26 against the Cold hearts earlier this season in a exhibition OTE match

Ben Tweedy | 6-4 Guard| 18 years old
The skilled guard who has been ultra-productive in NBL one this year, his game is very similar to Aussie PG Taran Armstrong, quick, crafty, and efficient. For teams looking to add a late young PG looking to develop, this is a great one. Already a productive pro. Tweedy embodies a winner, does need to improve his jumper but everything else he does, he does at a MM level already.

Mohammed Hussin | 6-4 Guard| MAR 10, 2006 (18 YEARS OLD)
Hussin was one of the most productive prospects in the albert schweitzer tournament 2024 this year averaging 21 PPG. The 6 ‘4 guard grew from 6’ 1 to 6 ‘4 from his junior year to senior season. Young, still an available senior, has a good feel for the game, is very crafty, can break down defenders, has a real knack for scoring and can go off any time he wants. Also took a jump in skill over his career this far, keeps getting better.

Miccoli is a very talented PG prospect from Milan, Miccoli impressed as a high level playmaker in both ANGT spots. 6-3 with a solid handle however really kills you with his speed and craft, has mature pace and tons of wiggle. Not only can he get himself how own but the Italian PG avenged 5.8 assists per game as well. Not too hard to see how he translates, a winner at every level, will be a fun player to see grow and develop

Jon thrived in U20 last year as a smaller guard who is crafty, fun and can really score it. Smaller frame, does not make up for it on the defensive end, most of the idea with him will be to be a spark plug off the bench, Has a nice handle, range.. Has the ability to be productive.

Jamaal Phatty | 6-8 wing | MAR 13, 2005 (19 YEARS OLD)
Phatty comes onto the scene as one of the better athletes still available, the prospect from Germany recently came to the states to play a senior prep year to build up offers. Phatty is 6 ‘8 with good length, freak athleticism and has a solid handle, not a good shooter at all and will warrant time to develop but can’t teach tools like he has.

Dia is a raw athlete, who’s got a lot of upside who can gain a ton of the right development. 6’8 wing with a 7’2 wingspan who’s just scratching the surface of his basketball development, Tobu Lawal/Jared Valencia/Greg Brown type, still improving his touch and feel but has elite tools, high major athletics, if all goes right this kid has a chance to have a promising career

Plays quick, knows how to get to his spots, very efficient all around, 3-level scorer and was FMP’s lead guard at times, was a standout this past year playing in Fiba and in the ABA this year he has been averaging good numbers and finding a good role against pros overseas, the flashes remained bright in terms of creation on the ball he has that upside, as well as being a great off ball shooter Immensely talented.

Andrin Njock is a very talented European prospect who’s looking to play college basketball next season Andrin averaged 19 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 2.6 APG in NLB play this season Njock is very productive, who’s a tough assignment, can play inside and outside, can pass and has a high motor, coming along nicely and it looks like there is still room for growth in his game: his mix of versatility, athleticism and craftiness displayed on both ends should entice many D1s Led CNBS in PPG, RPG & SPG (19.0/6.1/2.0) in the Swiss 2nd league

Aleksander is certainly an upside prospect but will present value, 6 ‘8 with a solid handle and decent jumper, right now the offensive game is a bit too limited, isn’t playing too much in Poland and is looking to make a move to gain more reps. High upside but will only go as far as he takes it.

There’s significantly more need for big wings and forwards in College Basketball. Lagerman, a German forward, is another in the same vein, The versatile 6-8 wing is a big time off-ball prospect, someone who you can call up and will give you good production, selfless and plays hard, good size, shot-making, and versatility.

Leo Curtis is one of the most dynamic forwards in the 2024 class. The 7 ‘0 big has a lot of Intriguing tools but mainly with fluidity & craftiness when he has the ball in his hands. He’s great in the open and currently shooting about 42% his last 12 games. He stands 7 foot tall & can sprint the floor like a wing. Averaging 21.6 PPG, 8.3 RPG, 2.1 BPG in his last 12 games

6’8 Dominique Diomande is someone I think is flying a bit under the radar. One of the best High flying athletes, with great tools, good base on his jumper, defends his ass off, the biggest thing would be working on his ball control and becoming a bit more confident as a shooter. Has the makings of a HM wing

Great all-around game, great activity moving without the ball, finding spots as a cutter and hitting his outside shots. Good ball pressure as a defender and some moments as a ball handler where he looked comfortable, I think he will thrive with more spacing at the college level. Really good off-ball shooter and floor spacer.

Onyejiaka, who has Polish and Nigerian roots, stood out in the youth ranks in Germany throughout his youth career, Onyejiaka ended up winning the Most Valuable Player of the JBBL that season. As time moved on he started getting call ups, where in the 21-22 season he was an active role player for a BBL team for a few games. This season he was one of the best players in the German 3rd division, 6 ‘7 wing with good ball skills and burst. Lots to like here

Kopke is a bit smaller, but does provide a lot of value as he stretches upwards and can finish around the rim, has a solid base on his jumper and shot 42% from deep in Fiba U18 this past year. Does struggle against length would be a more ideal 4 man.

The Polish wing has a lot of valued tools, while the production at this point might be a bit lacking, Kuba does have a very quick first step which allows him to be an efficient rim scorer. He does need to improve his handle and quicken his jumper. Still young and has slowly been improving

One of the more productive prospects in this whole list, Joshua is the younger brother of former Laker Isaac Bonga, while not as tall, Josh has been one of the best youth prospects in Germany, Has been testing himself by playing up. This past season, He was a backup PG in a top German B-league team. Smooth game, scores mainly off the dribble and has a nice first step.

Huseyin Emir Sevig | 6-9 Big | OCT 10, 2005 (18 YEARS OLD
Emir Sevig is a bit of an underperformer in terms of production in the big stages but this is a big with some good feel for the game, has a natural processing ability that allows him to be super effective in the post for him and others. Puts up 3.6 APG as a result. Needs development and time, likely a RS or a Walk-on with NIL would be ideal.

Poom is a highly skilled recruit that possesses an advanced offensive game being able to face up, play in the post, shoot & pass off movement and attack the basket. Poom has very good size for college basketball. Bigs his size with such a diverse skill set, that come off screens and dribble up 3s, he has a niche that makes sense, really like the upside here

7’0 20 year old Piotr Winkowski had a strong U20 last summer Currently playing in Poland’s second division averaging 7.4 PPG on 60% Has good touch, solid post moves and good athleticism off the short roll, he’d be a solid add for any staff to add, 7’0 bigs with touch and skill currently are a slim market, he fits that bill.
