EYBL Session 3 Superlatives

The May Live Period has come and gone. Coaches packed the gym in Indy to get their first live looks this spring at the rising senior class, and there was plenty to take away. Here, I'll get into the superlatives from EYBL Session 3.

MVP | Tyran Stokes

Stats: 21 points (59% FG & 58% 3PT) and 3 rebounds per game

This one could've easily gone to his teammate, and fellow top overall prospect AJ Dybantsa, as Soldiers put together an undefeated weekend, but I was specifically impressed by the few days that Stokes put together. From a box score perspective, the weekend was highlighted a by 31 point outburst against The Family where he had everything rolling, but the matchup with CP3 particularly popped. Stokes, dealing with cramps, sat out the first half, but with the Soldiers at a 16 point deficit come halftime, he gave it a go and completely shifted the energy of the game, eventually leading Soldiers to an 8 point victory. When the spot up stroke is clicking, there's no great answer for defenses against Stokes. There's arguably not a more powerful player attacking downhill against closeouts than 2026's top overall prospect, and he continues to make defenses pay there as a finisher, connector and slick playmaker. Monster weekend here, and a glimpse into what makes him such a unique, dynamic prospect when things are rolling. Dominant few days.

Offensive MVP's | Will Riley and Zach Kinziger

Riley's Stats: 24.5 points (57% FG & 50% 3PT), 3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game
