2024 MADE Hoops Circuit: Preseason MHC Team Watchlist
March 20, 2024 by Brian Flinn
The MADE Hoops Circuit tips off in just a couple of weeks. Featuring a number of the top independent programs from around the country, the MHC figures to be a competitive and talented circuit this AAU season. With that in mind, MADE Hoops takes a look at some of the teams that intrigue heading into the start of MHC play:
Mid Atlantic Select (MD): Junior guard Mason Ellison will headline for a Mid Atlantic Select group truly has scholarship players at all levels this season. They are a smart and tough group that plays the right way. While Ellison will be drawing plenty of power five level suitors, his teammates will be doing the same at different levels. The Maryland program has a rich history of talented kids to come through their doors; this season will be no different.
Central Kentucky Elite (KY): The trio of Connor Loy, Isaiah Cochran, and Jordan Mabe will spearhead the CKE attack. Loy is a 6-foot point guard who will run the show while Cochran and Mabe are intriguing forwards at 6-foot-7 and 6-foot-8 respectively. Both Loy and Cochran have picked up offers from upstart McNeese State in recent months and are being courted by a number of D1 programs in the southeast.
York Ballers (PA): The York Ballers look like one of the deepest and most talented groups in the 17U division this season. Guards Ben Natal and Wayne Fletcher will handle the perimeter while forwards Ben Rill and Carter Wamsley bring an intriguing blend of size and skill to the lineup and will allow the Ballers to play in a number of different styles this season. All four players have taken visits to Ivy League and/or Patriot League schools this winter, and will likely be a priority for low and mid-major coaches alike. Natal may have the most upside of anyone on the team and will be running the show at 6-foot-2.
Florida XPress (FL): Sophomore sensation Toni Bryant will headline for the XPress and will likely draw a number of high major suitors in for him this Spring. The 6-foot-10 forward has solidified himself as a top 30 prospect in what looks to be a strong 2026 class. Playing up in 17U this year, he figures to be a real difference make in the MHC.
NE Revolt (NY/New England): Albany natives Si Mayben and Ore Odutayo reunite for NE Revolt this Spring. Mayben is an electric 5-foot-11 guard who can really shoot it and is very creative off the bounce. Odutayo is coming off a solid season at Willston-Northampton (NH). At 6-foot-7 he is a versatile defender and slasher who has improved his shooting as the season has gone on.
The Scoring Factory Elite (PA): 2025 big man Tyler Robbins is highly skilled and highly intriguing at 6-foot-10. He will anchor things down low while 2026 guard Peja Strobl operates from the perimeter. A 6-foot-3 guard with a basketball IQ that few kids his age can match and good shooting ability, Strobl is very much the son of a coach. Look for things to pick on the recruitment front for what figures to be one of the more intriguing inside-out duos in the 17U division.
