2025 Georgia 2A Postseason Primer Regions 1-4

This time in February is always an exciting time of year for Georgia high school basketball fans.  It’s the time of year for the region tournaments.  We get to see who’s going to make that one last push to take home a region championship.  2A this year will be interesting as there is no guarantee that claiming a top four spot will get you into the state tournament when it comes time to seed everyone 1-32.  The private schools get their last shot at the public schools, as they will be having their own separate state tournament.  The race is on as things are heating up in 2A this week and should make for some great races.  With one #1 seed upset already, read below to see the breakdown…

2A - Region 1 - AT Hardaway

First Round - February 11th

Second Round - February 12th

Semifinals - February 14th

Championship/Consolation - February 15th

Favorite - Carver Columbus went 14-0 in the region this year unscathed.  The Tigers survived a couple of scares against Sumter County this season, but other than that was fairly dominant in the region.  2025 6’2 PG Tony Montgomery is the top player in the region this yea
