2025 TABC Preview: UIL 5A Teams To Look For

The 2025 Texas Association of Basketball Coaches(TABC) Boys Showcase is taking place from June 20-22 and it's filled with many of the best high school basketball teams across the state of Texas. With many grassroots teams currently taking a break before resuming their season, this showcase gives time for high schools to get a look at the team they can potentially be this upcoming school season. No matter the division, teams are going to play three games this weekend against teams of a similar level. Many teams have returning players that helped them have a successful season last year and they are expecting to take another leap or maintain their success.  

Here’s a look at the teams in the 5A Division - the second largest classification in Texas - that have the potential to turn heads at the showcase.
