2026 Forward Nate Bleman Is on the Cusp of Breaking Out
January 12, 2025 by Brian Flinn
2026 Forward Nate Blenman has been one of the big stockrisers of the early high school season in New York. A skilled 6-foot-8 big man who can play inside or out, Blenman has helped lead St. Joseph’s Collegiate to an 8-2 start on the year. The Buffalo native had this to say about how things have started for he and his team:
“I think the high school season is going great so far. We have had our ups and downs but that helps us overcome as a team. My goals for the rest of the season is to continue working as hard as possible and making my teammates better.” Blenman said.
Playing with Team New England on the MADE Hoops Circuit this AAU season should only help to boost the talented big man’s profile. He received his first division one scholarship offer this past October and should only continue to rack them up as college coaches begin to familiarize themselves with the western New York forward.
“Some of my goals for this AAU season are to get myself better and my team better as well. I am really excited for the MHC and can’t wait to play in it. I know we’re going to get the chance to play against some very good teams and get seen in the process, ” Said Blenman.
Playing with a talented Team New England group who looks ready to compete at the top of the MHC and continue to prove themselves as one of the premier programs in the Northeast will help him to grow both on and off the floor.
As far as specifics on his recruitment are concerned, Fairfield, Towson, and St. Bonaventure have all offered. Hometown Buffalo is showing interest as well. Because he’s still a relative unknown, Blenman is really just starting to focus in on the process.
“I’m looking for a college that is very good in business because I want to major in business and a team that works very hard and has a very hard work ethic,” he said.
Keep an eye out for the fast-rising forward as he continues to prove himself as one of the best 2026s currently flying under the radar in the Northeast and beyond.
