Much like his game, the emergence of St. Paul VI (VA) 2026 guard Jordan Smith, Jr. into one of the nation’s elite prospects has been explosive.

The high-flying, high-motor 6-foot-2, 200-pounder is a consensus 5-Star recruit, and checks in at No. 5 in the latest MADE Hoops 2026 Rankings, He holds college scholarship offers from a veritable who's who of Division I programs, including Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Duke, Florida State, Georgetown, Houston, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Villanova, Virginia and Virginia Tech, just to name a few.

During the high school season, Smith led the Panthers to their second consecutive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Tournament title and third in four years, dropping 29 points in the championship game against Gonzaga (DC). PVI had graduated five Division I commitments from the previous year, and Smith stepped seamlessly into a role as the focal point.

Smith hasn’t slowed down since the season ended. At the MADE Hoops Army National Guard Uncommon 40 Camp in May, Smith's dynamic physical traits were on display, as he posted a 35.5-inch vertical leap to lead all participants, and finished in the Top 5 of a few other categories.
