To begin, our principles around rankings -- especially on the underclassmen side of things -- centers more around encompassing the 'radar' than firm, cemented standing on a prospect. Naturally, the younger a prospect is, the more projection they require. More can change in time -- physically, mentally, skill-wise and everything in between. The numbers next to the names mean little at this stage. More than anything, it's an outline of how we project this next wave to evolve.
There will be significant movement over the next year; take a look at 2027 for example. Upon our debut, both Jordan Page and CJ Rosser were unranked. Now, both are inside the Top-3 and knocking on the door of the top spot. For now, where a prospect is slotted in is simply a data point on a much larger scale. Development is key, and a long marathon lays ahead.
