Jake West has been a hot commodity this summer, playing in plenty of major showcases and camps amongst the nation’s top talent. With his busy schedule, added athleticism and sharpening of his tools, West has also seen his recruitment take a significant jump. Coming fresh off an official visit with the University of Charlotte, I stopped by Penn Charter’s open gym to speak with the senior guard about his weekend with the 49ers, a recap of his summer and what to expect from the Quakers’ this season.
