The CIF-SS Open Division playoffs are set to begin tonight, featuring Southern California's and some of the nation's top teams battling through a grueling pool-play format for a shot at the Open Division crown. With elite programs like Harvard-Westlake, St. John Bosco, Roosevelt, and Sierra Canyon in the field, every game is a test, and no path to the final will be easy. Santa Margarita looks to complete a season sweep of JSerra, Redondo Union faces a tough two-week road stretch, and La Mirada prepares for a major step up in competition. With talented rosters, unique styles, and key individual matchups, these first two rounds will set the tone for what promises to be a thrilling postseason.
