East Circuit Preview: CP3

Just like that, Year X of the Winter Circuit is just around the corner. Here, I'll be taking an early look at the Red League teams from the East Coast. Today, we have CP3.

It's pretty fitting that CP3's program success would center around good backcourt play, and that's what they have in store for this winter. Those around the CP3 program are looking for a big year from what they call arguably the best backcourt in 2028, Sherod McCormick and JJ Sati-Grier. The team will be leaning on those two early and often and will probably go as far as they can take them.

The program thinks that those two will help to separate CP3 from the opposition. Grier, who is now on the east coast, was a standout at the Jr Finale. "Pace beyond his years, scoring craft, high level manipulation in the pick & roll and shot-making versatility. The 2028 Why Not G provides impressive offensive creativity each time out," wrote Max Feldman back in June.

There's also a host of young prospects on the team that look to make their presence felt on the circuit, with a group of them being potential X-factors and guys who could boost their stock this winter. One player that immediately comes to mind here is Baganley Donzo.
