MADE Here: Dedan Thomas Jr. Commits To UNLV

Top 35 point guard and MADE Hoops Alum Dedan Thomas Jr. has committed to UNLV, choosing the Rebels over Arizona, Florida, Gonzaga, Houston, and UCLA. The Rebels are getting a throwback style of point guard into their program, as Thomas is a serious floor general that can also go get his off of the bounce. He showcases phenomenal processing ability and vision, is equipped with a tight handle, and finishes well around the basket. Below, he talks with MADE Hoops' Travis Graf about his experience at MADE Hoops, his decision, and players he's trying to recruit to UNLV.

MADE Hoops Experience: "I feel like MADE Hoops was my first time playing on a real national level. It prepared me for times like these, so now I'm a lot more comfortable with it."

Why UNLV?: "Just the feeling I get there, God really pushed through on my heart when I was on that campus and around those guys. It's unlike any other place I was at. A lot of people think that my dad pushed me there, but he always told me to go where I'm happy and I feel happy at UNLV."

Who He's Recruiting: "Of course (he's recruiting other players), I've already started. I'm on some west coast guys like Pharaoh Compton, James Evans, and Zion Sensley."
