Elliot Cadeau Flash Plays Have Gym Buzzing

In the game of the day at MADE Hoops East Warmup, New Heights Lightning took down Philly Pride 17s with the help of a big night from Elliot Cadeau. The 6’1” point guard and future North Carolina Tar Heel dazzled with several flash plays throughout the night. Showcasing another gear in the open floor, superb passing and excellent instincts, when he wants to, he can do whatever he wants on the floor. For Philly Pride, it’s easy to envision them being one of the toughest UAA teams in the country this spring and summer. Izaiah Pasha popped today, as did Matt Gilhool and Ryan Williams for stretches.
Brandon Benjamin Has a Huge Day

Playing with a talented Shoreshots Rio UAA team, 6’7” forward Brandon Benjamin had a really good day at East Warmup. He was rebounding on both ends, disruptive on defense and was finishing everything around the rim, especially in a highly anticipated game against New York Lightning. After a good season at Bergen Catholic (NJ), he looks bigger physically and more equipped to produce this grassroots season.
‘Ron Ron’ Seeing His Stock Rise

After participating at USA Basketball Minicamp in Houston last weekend, word on the street is that the 6’2” point guard was one of the most surprising performers in attendance. After shining throughout his debut season at Blair Academy (NJ), he had the gym buzzing with his play on Saturday. A newly explosive leaper with excellent passing skills and court vision. Debuting in the MADE Hoops national rankings inside the Top 40, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him continue to climb this spring.
