East Circuit Preview: Boo Williams
November 10, 2023 by Colby Giacubeno
Year 10 of the Winter Circuit will be here in less than a month. The Boo Williams program has built a reputation as one of the country's best factories for producing high-level basketball talent. This year's squad should be no different as we preview the 2028 group.

Kelvin "Papa" Anderson Jr. is a strong, 6-foot-1 point guard who can do a little bit of everything. He's a scoring threat all three levels, has the ability to run the offense in a half-court setting and takes pride in his individual defense combined with his efforts on the glass. The Boo Williams program has the expectations of Anderson Jr. being one of the top guards in the winter circuit and eventually a top prospect at hos position in the national class. His leadership and willingness to communicate help set him apart from other prospects his age.
Legend Bunch Jr. is another name to watch with this group. The 6-foot-3 guard brings a deep bag when it comes to scoring.
A couple of prospects that could be labeled as X-factors for this team is Marc Watkins and Jabril Scott. Watkins is a 6-foot-3 athletic presence that blocks shots and rebounds in bunches. Scott bring a high motor and athleticism from the wing who can contribute to the box score in multiple ways.
Head coach Rodney Berry is looking forward to the start of the season and has high hopes for this group:
"Overall I really like this group. I think we have the guard play, depth and the size to be a top team in the league. As long as we defend at a high level and share the rock, we will be in the hunt for the championship."
