East Circuit Preview: Team Durant

Year 10 of the Winter Circuit will be here in less than a month and as usual, the Baltimore and DMV areas are churning out an impressive amount of talent at the youth level year in and year out. This year's Team Durant program will ensure that narrative remains.

This Durant squad is led by a talented point guard in Isa Camp. Those who are around Camp on a regular basis are confident in claiming his stake as being one of the better point guards in his class. He can pass, defend or knock down shots at an efficient clip. Camp is on the advanced track when it comes to his leadership and building up those that share the floor with him. He has a maturity and an unselfish approach that not many his age display with regularity.

Ezra Rich is a name that fits the X-factor category for this team. Rich brings athleticism as a guard and can fill the box score in a multitude of ways. He has the capability to leave his fingerprints on both ends of the floor thanks to his two-way impact.

Billy Stanfield III is a name that plenty of high school programs are pursuing. He's a lengthy wing who is another triple-threat to drive, pass or shoot. His length comes into play on the defensive end especially when playing off the ball where he has the quick-twitch ability to cause deflections.

Head coach Musa Kamara is high on his collection of prospects:

"I love this group. They are my best group thus far in terms of chemistry on the court and playing together. The key for use will be playing defense as a team. We have very good individual defenders. Right now our goal is to become more connected on that end as a group, not just individuals, which we are working towards with every practice."
