THE LEAD
2024 four-star wing and MADE Hoops alum Isaiah Elohim has committed to Arkansas. He chose the Razorbacks over his additional finalists Kansas and Villanova, joining four-star Jalen Shelley as the second commit of the class.

BACKGROUND
Arkansas extended an offer to Elohim back in December of 2022. He took his official visit to Fayetteville a few weeks ago in the middle of September, and that's when the tide really started to sway in the Razorbacks' direction. Kansas and Villanova were his additional finalists, and he officially visited them in February and September, respectively.
Elohim has been on the national radar since middle school, and he is an alum of the MADE Hoops West Coast Circuit. Below, the four-star prospect is pictured as an eighth grader, playing for Paul George Elite.

WHAT'S NEXT
Eric Musselman has addressed the wing positions early on in this recruiting class with the additions of Elohim and Shelley, and both provide different skill sets on the court. As it stands today, I wouldn't put money on another high school prospect joining this class, and the Razorbacks having a similar plan of attack to 2023 where they took just two high school players and the rest transfers. I expect Arkansas to load up on transfers once again after taking seven players from the portal last offseason.
MY TAKE
I really like the fit for Elohim at Arkansas. He's a tough, strong kid that will be playing in a system that requires toughness to excel. He's an excellent mid-range scorer, efficient off of thee catch and from one or two-dribble pull-ups. Elohim is also good at getting to the basket, where he thrives thanks to his strength and ability to finish through defenders. He's got a college-ready body as a high school senior and that should help his transition to the next level.
