Flory Bidunga Commits to Kansas

Flory Bidunga, the No. 6 overall prospect in 2024, is officially headed to Kansas after a whirlwind of a recruitment. The 6-9 rim runner chose the Jayhawks over Auburn, Michigan and Duke.

Bidunga, a native of Congo, becomes the first piece of Bill Self’s 2024 class. After exploding onto the scene last summer with Indiana Elite, the Kokomo (IN) big has dominated each step of the way since. Long and as explosive as they come, he’s looking to flush it with every opportunity in deep and has separated himself as the nation’s best rim protector. Kansas has had no shortage of high level bigs over the last decade, and Bidunga looks to be next in line. From the jump, he should slide seamlessly in as a high impact frontcourt piece in Lawrence. The Jayhawks are in play for a number of other blue chip prospects in the class including Jalil Bethea, Tre Johnson, Labaron Philon and more.
