Hassan Koureissi Talks City Championship Run, Recruitment, and Family Ties

It was a great high school season for 6-foot-5 guard Hassan Koureissi, the swingman stepped into a larger role this season and got better as the season went on. After capturing a second city championship for  the Stepinac Crusaders alongside teammates Boogie Fland, as well as Jasiah Jervis and Dylan Perry  as the other sophomores who have been on varsity for both championship runs, Koureissi and company are happy, but not satisfied.

“High school season was great, things went according to plan and we had said our goal at the start of the season was to go back-to-back so for us, it was mission accomplished, Now that we’ve won two in a row, getting to four is something we’re starting to talk about ” said Koureissi.

With two older brothers who played at the division one level, Koureissi has some understanding of what to expect once he hits the college ranks
