Jalen Shelley Down To Eight Schools

2024 | 6’8” Wing | Link Academy (MO) & Houston Hoops (EYBL) 

Top-65 2024 wing Jalen Shelley recently announced that he is down to the following eight schools in his recruitment: Louisville, Marquette, Houston, Colorado, Ohio State, LSU, Texas A&M and Arkansas. The Texas native started to see his consistency & productivity increase after he made the move to join Houston Hoops this AAU season. He also announced about a month ago that he'll be attending Link Academy (MO) next season. Shelley will be a big addition or kickstart for any programs 2024 recruiting class. 

Shelley is a toolsy wing guard with an intriguing blend of positional size, length & developing skill at 6’8”. Jumbo playmaker who leverages ample ground coverage & long strides to glide downhill at the point of attack. A prominent rip-through slasher who thrives at pushing the ball in the open floor & finishing in transition. Continued to flash growth as a shooter on the EYBL Circuit & he’s made evident strides as a space-creator off the bounce. His athleticism translates to the defensive end where he possesses the lateral agility, quick hands & instincts to force turnovers when guarding on the ball. There's an undeniably high ceiling for him to reach and making the move to Link Academy (MO) for his senior season will certainly benefit his development.
