Jeremiah Wilkinson Commits to Cal

Jeremiah Wilkinson, the 122nd overall prospect in the class of 2024, has committed to California. The 6-1 guard out of Georgia was previously committed to Mississippi State, and is once again one we're higher on than the rest of the industry.

Wilkinson is fresh off a nice summer with Game Elite, putting his explosive scoring ability and hard-nosed approach on display session after session. The speedy southpaw guard has the mold of a hyper-productive college guard, stocked with a tight handle, pull-up shot-making ability and an ease at which he tilts defenses off the dribble. Smooth sliding on or off the ball, and has a first step that's tough to wall up regardless of the closeout coming his way. The high-wired guard can score in a number of ways, but has shown to be an undervalued facilitator and has upside as a potentially high level playmaker down the line at the next level. Energetic in each facet of the game, Cal nabs a productive guard from across the country to become Madsen and company's first commitment from the high school ranks.
