Schools In The Mix: “Oklahoma, Illinois, UCLA, Gonzaga, and I’m talking to schools like Michigan, Texas, Virginia, Cal, Nebraska. I have an offer from Nebraska, too.”

Oklahoma: “They’ve just been really open, they reach out quite a bit. I talk to the head coach and I talk to the assistant coaches, they’ve been talking to me about how I fit there well, my versatility, who I am as a person and as a player toughness-wise, things like that. They’re huge on development, so that’s big for me.”

Illinois: “I’ve talked to both the head coach and the assistant coach, (Geoff) Alexander. They actually came out here on a Saturday during one of our lifts and we had a nice little meeting. Pretty much the same thing, they see me as a great versatile player that could really fit in their program. Someone that could bring the ball up, come off screens, come off down screens, stuff like that. Same thing, they’re big on development, their strength and conditioning coach is one of the best in the business.”

UCLA: “I talk to Coach (Mick) Cronin, Coach (Darren) Savino, and some of the other assistant coaches. I’ve been there on a couple of unofficials just because it’s close to home. They’re really big on a lot of things that I’m about. It’s a big time program itself and they’ve been very successful. They develop guys throughout the years, and it’s a big time place that’s family oriented.”

Gonzaga: “Pretty much a lot of the same things, very big on development they get guys and make them really good players. They like my versatility and see me as someone that can do a lot of things.

Michigan: “I’ve been talking to Coach (Juwan) Howard a bit. He has done really good with versatile wings, they have done really well in his program and are going far places.”

Texas: “I’ve been talking to Coach (Byron) Jones. They see me as a tough competitor that can do a lot of everything. They a lot of things to help players improve themselves.”

Virginia: “We have had a couple of calls. They like my versatility and vision. We have had some Zoom calls, they are big on development as well.”
