2024 MADE Recruiting Report Part Two: It’s been a busy few weeks on the recruiting trail as the contact period opened for 2025 prospects last week and there are live period events being held across the country this weekend. Here, we break down some new updates while focusing on 15+ rising seniors in the 2024 class.

Alabama is the latest to offer Top-15 2024 wing Kon Knueppel. One of the premier shooters in his class, the Wisconsin native led the EYBL in scoring throughout the regular season. Polished scorer with a prominent shot-up prowess & a fairly diverse shot profile. Not the most explosive or shifty self-creator, yet his blend of skilled footwork & tight crossovers allows him to generate space. Continues to show growth as a processor given the quick & brisk decision-making he’s flashed. Stanford, Marquette, Illinois, Miami, Louisville, & more have offered the Phenom University product.

Maine & Merrimack are the latest to offer 2024 forward Josh Decady. Recently popped onto my radar at the NEPSAC Showcase as an underrated prospect with a strong motor & budding two-way production. Physical, tough athlete who is a bouncy & quick finisher on the low-block. Powerful rebounder who tends to be a notable putback threat on the offensive glass. Assertive rim protector who can keep opponents out of the paint & block shots from time to time. Expect his recruitment to expand over the next year while playing for Kimball Union Academy (NH).

TCU & New Mexico are the latest to offer Top-150 2024 wing forward David Punch. He earned stockriser of the session honors during Session Two of the EYBL, however it’s beginning to look like his recruitment is rising. Prominent pick & roll threat whose flashed his ability to stretch the floor, yet he can make plays out of the short roll. Potential mismatch who has the foot speed to exploit slower & bigger defenders, yet he’s comfortable leveraging his size to post up smaller opponents. The Texas native could start to see his recruitment take off this summer. 

Michigan is the latest to offer Top-20 2024 big man Patrick Ngongba. The Team Takeover product has shot up our rankings throughout the spring. Physically imposing frontcourt prospect with strong positional size, a sturdy frame & notable aggression. Hard-nosed, rugged rim finisher who is comfortable embracing & converting layups through contact. He’s showcased evident growth as a shooter, particularly when it comes to his ability to stretch the floor. Forceful rebounder on the interior who has a knack for using his build, power & size to an advantage. Duke, UConn, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Virginia Tech & multiple others have offered. 

Hofstra, Buffalo, NJIT & more have recently offered 2024 wing Amir Williams. Impactful & switchable defender who has put together some impressive flashes on the defensive end of the floor. Lengthy athlete who has the foot speed & functional handle to attack off the bounce, yet he’s a dangerous spot-up shooter. Demonstrates a smooth & fluid release point off the catch, plus he’s clearly grown more comfortable as a pull-up threat. The two-way production has caught multiple programs attention and Williams stock is trending upwards. 

UT Arlington is the latest to offer 2024 guard Dayton Forsythe. Heady lead guard who thrives at probing defenders into lapses or missed rotations with his manipulative dribble moves. Shows off plenty of craft at the rim, plus he possesses an advanced & soft float-game as well. Capable pull-up scorer who can hurt defenses from the perimeter, yet you’ll rarely see him force a tough or contested shot. Willing playmaker who has the feel & IQ to stay a step ahead of defenses. The balance of scoring & playmaking has popped throughout the spring on the EYBL Circuit. Oklahoma, California, Oklahoma State, Wake Forest, Rice, & more have offered. 

Alabama is the latest to offer Top-35 2024 big man Nicolas Codie. He’s been one of the biggest stockrisers nationwide this spring & summer regardless of class. High-motor & physical frontcourt prospect who has developed into a much more consistent floorspacer the past few months. A long finisher at the rim, plus he’s flashed functional touch in the lane. The best basketball is ahead of him, yet the production & steady development make him one to like in the present. Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Houston & many more have offered this spring. 

Richmond is the latest to offer 2024 guard Jamie Phillips. Well-built & powerful backcourt prospect who is a physical handler at the point of attack. Forceful playmaker who consistently gets downhill & helps the perimeter open up for his team. Demonstrates plenty of fluidity as a catch & shoot scorer, plus he tends to flash some mid-range shotmaking from time to time. The downhill playmaking and physicality pop most, yet there’s clearly more upside for Phillips to reach. Stetson has also offered the Florida native & Winter Haven (FL) product. 

Georgia is the latest to offer Top-10 2024 wing VJ Edgecombe. We’re clearly high on the Bahamas native, although there’s even more upside for him to tap into. Long-limbed & explosive athlete who is a prominent playmaker on both ends of the floor. Leverages a quick-twitch first step to beat closeouts routinely & he’s a bouncy finisher in the lane. He displays a strong foundation & promising mechanics as a spot-up shooter, plus he continues to add more confidence as a pull-up scorer. Instinctual defender who constantly jumps passing lanes to ignite fast breaks going the other direction. Alabama, Indiana, Oklahoma, Florida State, & more have offered. 

Penn State & TCU are the latest to offer Top-120 2024 wing Devon Pryor. The Texas native decommitted from LSU about a week back after deciding to reopen his recruitment. An intriguing long-term prospect, there’s an appealing foundation of athleticism & tools to build upon. Possesses a fluid shooting release and continues to flash growth as a shotmaker. He's a bouncy finisher in the lane who is dangerous and tough to contain in the open floor. As he fills out his frame and expands his skillset/consistency, there’s obvious upside to like down the road. 

2024 guard Ty Bevins recently completed a visit to George Mason. The New World product has been garnering plenty of buzz with his standout play during the HS Live Periods. Well-rounded & balanced backcourt prospect who affects the game in numerous facets. Reliable playmaker who plays at a composed pace while displaying a strong feel for the game. Excels in an opportunistic scoring role when taking advantage of what the defense gives him. Capable perimeter shooter with extensive touch, plus he has the craft, body control & float game to finish in the lane. Hampton recently offered the Maryland native as well.

Top-140 2024 guard Christian Bliss recently completed a visit to Xavier. Well-built athlete who is a poised combo guard that is effective playing on or off the ball. Plays at a composed pace, yet he understands when to speed things up or slow it down. Smooth pull-up scorer who excels at leveraging ball screens & tight crossovers to create advantages offensively. Tough & controlled rim finisher who doesn’t shy away from bigger rim protectors. Strong decision-maker who rarely forces a tough look, plus he has the ability to find open teammates with his feel & size. Bliss is officially down to Miami, Virginia, Villanova, & Xavier in his recruitment. 

Top-140 2024 guard Ty Davis recently completed visits to Creighton & Northwestern. The Alabama native has been another breakout prospect this spring who has earned numerous offers. High-IQ & poised lead guard who is a quick, yet strong processor with the ball in his hands. Crafty offensive weapon who is a smooth pull-up scorer with multilevel scoring ability. The blend of playmaking and skill have him trending upwards in the 2024 class. Oregon, Ole Miss, Richmond, & more have offered this spring. 

Top-60 2024 wing Jackson McAndrew recently completed a visit to Notre Dame. He continues to be prioritized by numerous high-major programs, including Creighton, Wisconsin, Xavier & more. At 6’9” with a strong feel, the Minnesota native is a high-level floorspacer. He’s made evident growth as a ball handler the last few months while enhancing his athleticism in the process. McAndrew has been on a few campuses over the last few weeks & he continues to garner buzz in the Midwest.

San Diego is the latest to offer Top-80 2024 wing Brody Kozlowski. The Utah native has garnered a reputation to be one of the stronger shooters in the entire class. Well-built wing who is a prominent spot-up scorer that continues to make strides as a space-creator. Smooth face-up scorer who can settle for jumpers in the mid-range area, plus he’s flashed a growing shot profile this spring. Has shown glimpses of his strong feel when passing out of traffic on the drive or tight closeouts on the perimeter. Holds offers from the likes of UNLV, Nevada, Washington State, VCU, Rice, & more.
