2025 MADE Recruiting Report Part Two: It’s been a busy few weeks on the recruiting trail as the contact period opened for 2025 prospects last week and there was a live period held over the weekend. Here, we break down some new updates while focusing on rising juniors in the 2025 class

Illinois is the latest to offer Top-35 2025 wing Nate Ament. The Virginia native has been a prominent stockriser nationwide this spring & early summer. Long, fluid athlete with a smooth & versatile scoring repertoire on the offensive end. Skilled & polished scorer who can knock down jumpers off the bounce at a solid clip. Productive & tough positional rebounder whose also flashed his switchability & defensive upside. Penn State, Iowa, VCU, Maryland & more have offered this spring. 

Georgia Tech & Penn State are the latest to offer Top-40 2025 wing Cam Ward. Long & high-motor athlete who has blossomed into a multilevel scorer over the last few years. Reliable spot-up shooter who is a physical slasher at the point of attack. Hard-nosed, flexible finisher who is unfazed by contact or length in the lane. Leverages a quick first step to attack & beat closeouts routinely. The Maryland native has added offers from Texas A&M, Iowa, Texas, Arkansas, & more this spring. 

Kansas & UCLA are the latest to offer Top-45 2025 wing Jovani Ruff. Lengthy & fluid-moving athlete who is a smooth pull-up scorer. Reliable spot-up scorer from three-point range, plus he’s a dangerous weapon in the mid-range area. Polished offensive prospect who has seen his recruitment expand the last few weeks. The West Coast prospect holds offers from Oregon, Washington, USC, & more. 

Providence is the latest to offer Top-55 2025 guard Nyk Lewis. While it’s taken him some time to find his footing at the 17U level on the EYBL Circuit, there’s plenty to like with the Team Takeover floor general. Explosive & physical ball handler who has a knack for beating defenders off the bounce. Leverages a blend of counter moves & his speed to put constant pressure on the rim. Tennessee, Xavier, Iowa, Georgetown, & more have offered the DMV prospect. 

Virginia Tech is the latest to offer Top-75 2025 guard Derek Dixon. Another DMV product on this list, he’s been a prominent shotmaker in the E16 Division of the Nike EYBL. Smooth movement shooter who is capable of knocking down jumpers off the catch or bounce. He’s demonstrated notable growth as a playmaker after coming off an impressive sophomore season at Gonzaga (DC). Xavier, Penn State, Maryland, & Syracuse all have offered in the past week as well. 

Kansas State is the latest to offer Top-90 2025 guard Jalen Reece. The Florida native is a high-feel & willing playmaker with pin-point passing accuracy. Manipulative ball handler who can probe defenders into lapses or missed rotations. A crafty finisher with a soft-float game, plus his range extends out to the three-point line. One of many talented backcourt prospects in the Southeast in a loaded 2025 class. Texas A&M, Xavier, Illinois & Virginia Tech all offered back in May. 

USC is the latest to offer Top-85 2025 wing guard Bryce Heard. He’s shown some noticeable signs of growth while playing for a talent-filled Florida Rebels E16 group. Quick-twitch & bursty creator who has progressed as an off the dribble shooter. Fluid spot-up scorer who continues to work on improving his shooting splits (CHECK). The Montverde Academy (FL) product holds offers from Illinois, Oklahoma, LSU, & more. 

North Carolina A&T is the latest to offer 2025 guard Keyshaun Tillery. The New Hampton School (NH) product recently played well at the NEPSAC Showcase. Ultra-quick lead guard loaded with counters & speed off the bounce which allows him to bes closeouts often. Potent mid-range scorer with some touch at the rim, yet his pull-up shooting continues to pop. Laterally quick on-ball defender who has the speed to guard in space. Hampton, Bryant, & Temple have also offered this month. 

Creighton is the latest to offer Top-45 2025 guard Trey McKenney. Well-built combo guard who has the skill & versatility to score the ball at a high volume. A powerful, tough finisher who understands how to leverage his frame to generate space. Physical ball handler at the point of attack who is a force when working his way downhill. The Michigan native is a talented scorer who has garnered buzz while playing up an age division in the Nike EYBL. Kansas, USC, Miami, Penn State, LSU, & multiple others have offered The Family product. 

Siena is the latest to offer 2025 wing Barrett Loer. Bouncy & fluid athlete with a smooth shooting stroke at 6’6”. Heady cutter who constantly moves without the ball when looking for open space to operate. Fluid pull-up shooter who can settle into jumpers after beating closeouts. Reliable spot-up threat who is a confident shooter on the perimeter. Continues to blossom into a stronger playmaker which popped this past weekend at the NEPSAC Showcase.

Siena is the latest to offer 2025 wing Ryan Altman. The Massachusetts native is another prospect who played well at the NEPSAC Showcase and his recruitment should continue to grow in the near future. Well-rounded wing with an appealing pass, dribble & shoot skillset, plus he showed flashes of his ability to thrive in a “connector” type of role. Demonstrates a high-IQ on the defensive end with his brisk rotating and defensive playmaking. 

Hampton is the latest to offer Top-85 2025 wing Dwayne Wimbley Jr. While he may get overshadowed by the Boozer twins, Wimbley has actually had a very strong spring himself for Nightrydas. Well-built athlete who is a prominent slasher given his aggression & physicality at the point of attack. Rugged & hard-nosed finisher who does an adequate job of drawing contact to get to the line. FGCU & Florida State have also offered. 

Minnesota & Rutgers are the latest programs to offer Top-95 2025 guard Nigel James. Ultra-quick & shifty ball handler who can put pressure on the rim, plus he’s a smooth pull-up scorer. Hurts the defenses from multiple levels & he has the feel to pass out of traps, help defense or traps. Scrappy & laterally quick on-ball defender who is difficult to gain dribble penetration against. Marquette, Iowa, St. John’s Providence, and multiple others have offered the fast-rising lead guard this spring. 

East Carolina is the latest to offer 2025 big man Eric Reibe. The New World product is a physical low-post scorer with a reliable jump-hook when using his dominant hand. Tough rebounder who is a prominent putback threat with a strong understanding for leveraging his frame to seal opponents. Not the most explosive rim protector, yet he’s assertive & tends to keep defend outside the paint with his size/build. Providence, Indiana, Mizzou, Illinois, Georgetown, Purdue, & many others have offered this spring. 

Creighton is the latest to offer Top-35 2025 wing Shon Abaev. Fluid & shifty shot-creator who tends to generate advantages routinely. Smooth pull-up scorer with a diverse shot profile, plus he’s a bouncy finisher in the lane. The Florida native has emerged as one of the stronger scorers this spring & college programs have been taking note. Auburn, Kansas, USC, Illinois, & more have offered the Calvary Christian Academy (FL) product this spring. He has been a heavy producer for SOH Elite on the UAA Circuit. 

St. John’s is the latest to offer Top-25 2025 guard Alex Lloyd. Lengthy & bouncy athlete who is a springy finisher in the open floor or when slashing downhill. Smooth spot-up shooter with a fluid & fairly quick release off the catch. Willing playmaker who tends to make the right in dribble-drive situations or when handling in the open floor. Energetic defender who is light on his feet & leverages his length to jump passing lanes. The Florida native holds offers from Miami, Dayton, Florida State, & more. 

Boston College is the latest to offer Top-90 2025 wing Akbar Waheed. Toolsy wing guard prospect with an intriguing blend of size (6’6”), skill & growing feel. Capable of beating closeouts with tight crossovers & some burst off the bounce. Reliable spot-up scorer who is a legitimate threat when given enough space to let it fly on the perimeter. He’s flashed the ability to play on & off the ball for Team Durant this spring. Penn State, Maryland, Albany, and more have offered. 

Top-105 2025 wing Amari Evans recently completed a visit to Oklahoma State. He’s been a prominent stockriser this spring for New Heights Lightning E16 group. Powerful flasher at the point of attack who is an aggressive finisher at the rim. Continues to flash growth as a shotmaker, particularly off the bounce. Tough on-ball defender who has the strength to wall off slashers, plus he tends to be productive on the glass. Penn State, Marquette, Oklahoma State, Robert Morris, & LIU have offered the Pittsburgh native this spring. 

Iowa, Penn State & Fairfield are the latest to offer 2025 big man Luke Bevilacqua. High-motor big who is a tough finisher at the rim with growing versatility. Flashes soft hands when securing drop-down looks, plus he tends to finish the ball quickly. Capable face-up scorer who is comfortable shooting in the 12-15 foot area as well. As he continues to expand his game & athleticism there’s plenty of upside to be tapped into. Xavier, St. Joe’s, Cincinnati, & more have offered The George School (PA) product. 

George Washington is the latest to offer Top- 2025 wing Will Harper. The Gonzaga (DC) product put together an impressive sophomore season while playing in a strong league. Lockdown on-ball defender who is laterally quick and physical when guarding at the point of attack. Fluid spot-up shooter who is also a hard-nosed finisher at the rim, plus he tends to be unfazed by length or bigger rim protectors. Fordham, Harvard, George Mason, & a few others have also offered the DMV native this spring. 

Providence is the latest to offer 2025 big Erhunmwunse Oswin. The Nigeria native hasn’t been in the states very long, although he was an impactful piece for Putnam Science Academy (CT) last season. Physically imposing frontcourt prospect with strong positional size at 6’10” and a well-built frame. Powerful rim finisher who is a prominent lob threat loaded with vertical pop. High-motor & aggressive big man who tends to rebound at a fairly high volume on both ends of the floor. Georgia Tech, Marquette, Texas Tech, & more have offered.
