2026 MADE Recruiting Report Part One: It’s been a busy few weeks on the recruiting trail as the contact period opened for 2025 prospects last week and there was a live period held over the weekend. Here, we break down some new updates while focusing on rising sophomores in the 2026 class.

TCU is the latest to offer Top-35 2026 guard Deron Rippey Jr. The New York native is a quick-twitch athlete who is loaded with burst & counter moves. Explosive dribble-drive creator who beats closeouts routinely with his speed. Fluid pull-up scorer inside the arc who has flashed plenty of playmaking chops on the EYBL Circuit. Scrappy on-ball defender who can defend in space & force turnovers with his pressure. Oklahoma State, Fordham, & a few others have offered the Blair Academy (NJ) product. 

Coastal Carolina is the latest to offer 2026 wing Josiah Sanders. Bouncy & quick athlete who excels at exploiting slower bigs off the bounce. Hard-nosed, tough finisher who is unfazed by contact or bigger rim protectors in the lane. Capable shooter who has shown glimpses of his catch & shoot fluidity on the perimeter. Switchable defender who has the foot speed to guard in space. Keep an eye on the North Carolina in the coming years. 

Providence is the latest to offer Top-10 2026 wing Chidi Nwigwe. He’s another quick-twitch athlete who has blossomed into a multilevel scoring weapon. Possesses the burst & ground coverage to get downhill as a slasher, plus he’s a smooth shooter off the catch. Produces paint touches at a high rate & tends to be a reliable source of downhill playmaking. The blend of size, length & shotmaking make him an appealing long-term prospect in the 2026 class. 

Florida, Illinois & St. John’s are the latest to offer Top-20 2026 wing Alex Constanza. Long & fluid wing who is a smooth spot-up shooter that can hurt defenses from multiple levels. Productive slasher who needs minimal dribbles to get downhill, plus he has functional touch at the rim. Demonstrates advanced ball skills, a growing feel & capable shotmaking ability off the bounce. Multiple high-majors have already offered the Florida native. 

Incarnate Word is the latest to offer Top-85 2026 wing Joe Sterling. Ultra-skilled & high-volume scoring guard with extensive range/touch. Potent pull-up scorer who excels at generating advantages with tight crossovers & quick side-steps. One of the stronger backcourt prospects on the West Coast, he’s put together a strong spring thus far. Portland also recently offered the California native. 

Tennessee Tech is the latest to offer Top-25 2026 big Ladarius Givan. Long & mobile athlete who is one of the top frontcourt prospects in the 2026 class down South. Possesses functional touch at the rim, plus he continues to show glimpses of his expanding face-up confidence & touch. High-motor rebounder who is fairly instinctual & assertive as a shot blocker. Mississippi State, Troy, & Jackson State have also offered the Alabama native. 

Houston & UCF are the latest to offer Top-50 2026 guard Brandon Bass Jr. Sharpshooting left-handed guard ho possesses extensive range & touch. Possesses the wiggle & counter moves to beat closeouts off the bounce. Smooth pull-up scorer who can hurt defenses in the mid-range area as well. Talented scorer who is the son of former NBA player Brandon Bass. Bass Jr has also earned offers from St. John’s, Illinois, & LSU this spring. 

Missouri State is the latest to offer Top-75 2026 wing Tre Raymon. Long & fluid athlete with an appealing blend of physical tools + developing skill. Capable floorspacer who shows glimpses of a smooth release at 6’8”. Potential mismatch nightmare who has the versatility to score inside & out. An athletic finisher at the rim with growing touch & physicality. The South Carolina native holds offers from Jacksonville, Milwaukee, Mississippi State, & FIU. 

Utah State is the latest to offer Top-15 2026 guard Alijah Arenas. The son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, Alijah is wired to score just like his father. Polished & lengthy scorer who is a potent shotmaker off the bounce. Creates advantages with tight crossovers & a shifty handle, plus he flashes plenty of craft at the rim. Possesses a natural, strong feel for the game which allows him to pass out of double teams or help defense. Kansas, UCLA, Xavier, Washington, & more have already offered. 

George Mason & Providence are the latest to offer 2026 guard Anthony Brown. The Team Takeover floor general has been a pivotal factor in their strong regular season play. Skilled offensive prospect with glaring confidence and shotmaking ability. Willing playmaker who has the feel & passing accuracy to stay a step ahead of defenses. He’s set to step into a much bigger role for a talent filled Paul VI (VA) group. Look out for more programs to get involved with Brown’s recruitment in the coming months. 

California is the latest to offer Top-65 2026 guard Marquis Clark. It seemed to be a matter of time before Clark’s recruitment began to take shape, and after weathering an up and down spring, Cal and Northern Illinois have got the ball rolling for Whitney Young’s (IL) young playmaker. The stout, physical 6-2 continues to live in the paint and pressure the rim at a high level, but his level of feel, patience and nuance continue to take steps forward. Now stepping into a backcourt void left by a pair of D1 guards for the Dolphins, he’s beginning to find his footing at the right time.

Wake Forest is the latest to offer Top-80 2026 guard Navon Shabazz. The Nightrydas product is an explosive athlete who is a prominent downhill slasher. Bouncy finisher who is loaded with vertical pop & aggression at the rim. Proven shotmaker who has the handle to create space for jumpers off the bounce. The blend of athleticism and shotmaking flashes make him another intriguing prospect long-term. Will be attending Assumption (IA) for his sophomore season. 

Rhode Island is the latest to offer 2026 guard Jordan Skyers. Physical slasher at the point of attack who is a hard-nosed finisher at the rim. Ultra-quick handler in the open floor who is highly difficult to contain when he gains a full head of steam. Tough on-ball defender who has the foot speed to guard in space, plus the toughness to wall-off opposing slashers. One worth tracking in the Northeast at Cardinal Hayes (NY) over the next few years. 

Kennesaw State is the latest to offer 2026 Top-40 big man Toni Bryant. Long & rangy athlete that provides a budding two-way impact on the interior. The Florida native is a bouncy finisher, instinctual rim protector & a mobile rim runner. Highly productive rebounder who plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. The buzz continues to grow for Bryant and there is a wealth of upside to tap into moving forward. He’s earned early offers from UNLV, Illinois, UCF, & Florida State in this past spring alone. 

Illinois is the latest to offer 2026 Top-75 big man Sinan Huan. The China native hasn’t been in the states long, although he’s been highly impactful thus far. Long, mobile athlete who gets up & down the floor quickly with minimal strides. Possesses soft touch on the low-block and he can exploit smaller mismatches in the post. A highly productive rebounder who is an assertive rim protector & defensive anchor. The Southeast Elite product already holds offers from Alabama, Mississippi State, & Florida as well.
