Picking the 2025 NYC PSAL Borough Championship Games

This Saturday at Queens College will host the PSAL Boro Championships featuring four terrific matchups. While New York City has seen a few upsets but mostly chalk usually means some wild things may happen. Here’s the full breakdown of each game plus a few names to look out for.

Brooklyn Championship (11AM)

This game has arguably the two strongest public schools in New York City between #1 seed Thomas Jefferson and #2 seed Eagle Academy Brooklyn. In early December Jefferson put a beat down on Eagle at home and then was able to clip them at the nest by 9 in late January. These two squads are matching up for the third team this season and while the saying "it's hard to beat a good team three times” exists, it truly is.
