East Circuit Preview: NJ Scholars

Just like that, Year X of the Winter Circuit is around the corner. Here, I'll be taking an early look at the Red League teams on the East Coast. Today, we've got the NJ Scholars.

The NJ Scholars are going to be a team to track this winter during East Circuit play. They always deliver and they've been known to put on a show in recent years. This year is no different, as they'll be leaning on standouts Yasir Turner and Ibrahim Cisse. Turner made the Top 20 game at East MSA back in June, and he and Cisse look to compliment each other well to start the season.

When talking to those around the Scholars program, there's a sense that Larry Jenkins is a player that could surprise some people this year and potentially be an X-Factor for their team as they look to have a productive season on the circuit. Execution, discipline, and tough guard play are some characteristics of this team that could possibly separate them from the rest of the competition.
