Stat Story: Adrian Wooley riding under the radar, Nasir Meyer's upside and more

Statistics certainly don't tell the full story, but they’re a big piece of the puzzle in evaluating trajectory. Often times, it’s the most instructive tool in terms of projecting what’s not there yet, but will be in time.
Here, I'll break down to what to make of the promising statistical indicators on four prospects from around the country, along with a few indicators potentially of concern on four different prospects. As with evaluation as a whole, the process is fluid. As the sample size grows, the worrisome indicators can be diminished. All analytics are from Synergy Sports.

2024's are flying off the board with the season quickly approaching, meaning programs are beginning to have to dive a bit deeper in hopes of filling out their high school recruiting classes. Wooley is one that very well may be looked back upon as a miss for many at the high major level. Between 22 games with Alabama Fusion and Pro One this spring and summer, the 6-5 guard shot 43% from beyond the arc on 3.5 attempts per game. He's grown notably more proficient from there, opening up the most dynamic portion of his game — his explosiveness. He's exceptionally active and always seems to be in the midst of the action, but the level of efficiency raises things to another level. All that without mentioning where his true upside might lay — the defensive end. Love the upside here.
