Three Takeaways From Day One of the 2024 Tip of the Hat Classic

The 10th Annual Tip of the Hat Classic took place this weekend. Featuring some of the top teams on Long Island vs talented teams from the greater NYC area, there was plenty of talent in the gym. With that in mind, MADE highlights a trio of takeaways from day one.
Final: Holy Cross (NY) 60, Stony Brook (NY) 53
Payton Wilson shines
Freshman standout Payton Wilson had it going early and often for the Knights. The 6’6 wing showed off his athleticism and skills off the dribble. Keiji “KG” Clifton showed off his stroke from downtown knocking down four threes for a team high 19pts.
