'24 Big Trent Burns Updates His Recruitment

7'2" 2024 big man Trent Burns is one of the most interesting players in the senior class. With his freakish height and length, he already stands out when getting off the bus. Couple this with his tendency to try and stretch the floor, it's going to be fascinating to watch his development over the next few years. He's a very streaky outside shooter at this time, but that's where he likes to spend his time when on the floor. If he's able to find consistency from behind the arc, his stock raises quicker than mostly anyone else's could in the class. The top-120 prospect broke down his recruitment with MADE Hoops.

Schools Involved: "Missouri, Rice, Tulsa, Nebraska, Xavier, Ohio State, and DePaul."

Missouri: "It (the visit) was good, the whole visit was nice and I enjoyed myself for sure. All of the coaches were cool with me and the players, too. The directness that Coach (Dennis) Gates has with me, I like their play style and I enjoy watching them practice. I feel like I could fit in."

Rice: "They just want me to come in, they've been recruiting me forever so they told me to come in and see what I can do and just keep doing it, just on a higher level. They think I could fit in and do what they do in their offense."

Tulsa: "Same thing, they've been recruiting me for awhile, too. They just see the potential that I have and they want to try and bring it out."

Nebraska: "I've just been talking to Coach (Ernie) Ziegler, he's real cool with me and just believes in me. He sees the stretch five potential, and he wants to put me in their offense and see how it could work out."

Xavier: "I feel like I fit in very well with their play style. I talk to Coach (Adam) Cohen mostly, he's real cool. I'm real cool with him."

Ohio State: "I like them. They send me stuff all of the time about how I could fit into their offense and stuff."

DePaul: "They're kind of late, but they just really believe in me. They think I can be a pro and they just want to help me try to get to the next level."

Visit Plans: "I'm going to Rice this weekend for an official. I'd like to visit Xavier, I'll see about them, DePaul, Nebraska, and Ohio State."
