West Circuit Preview: Paul George Elite

Just like that, Year X of the Winter Circuit is around the corner. Here, I'll be taking an early look at the Red League teams out West. Today, we've got Paul George Elite.

The straw that stirs the drink and one of the league’s elite long-term prospects — Kainoa Patton returns for PGE after a very strong winter playing up last year.

Trace Lopez joins the fold after drawing eyes last year. A 6-8 post with excellent hands, Coach Dickson said, “he’s going to be huge for us.”

Established go-to guys, both of whom have plenty of upside to grow into, but Carter Butler and King Johnson are both expected to take steps forward.

“They’re both going to surprise some people. They keep getting better” Coach said.

Reggie Morris may be a name that arises throughout the Winter, sprinkling in flashes for this PGE group. But, the best is well ahead for the young Cali guard.

Ton of pieces in place that’ll be front of mind in evaluating the league’s elite prospects, but they’ll continue to pride themselves on the overall athleticism littered up and down the lineup.

“We’re going to play harder than anyone else” coach said.
