Class of 2017 small forward De'Vondre Perry is down to five.

De'Vondre Perry has set official visits for Temple and Virginia Tech.

De’Vondre Perry has cut his list of schools down to five. The class of 2017 small forward is down to Virginia Tech, Temple, USC, Kansas State and Seton Hall. He broke down his final list of schools.

Virginia Tech: “Coach Buzz Williams is not only a good coach, but he's a good person as well,” he said. “His energy reminds me of my high school coach, Sam Brand. Coach Webster and I have built a pretty solid relationship as well and we talk all the time.”

Temple: “Coach Dunphy is a down to earth coach,” he said. “Coach McKie and I have created a strong relationship after Coach Killings left and went to UConn. Coach Killings was my recruited me hard when he was at Temple. I know at Temple I will have some leadership roles right away as a freshman.”

USC: “Coach Enfield is a good coach and believed in me when nobody else did,” he said. “They gave me my second offer during the fall going into my junior season and have been loyal ever since.”

Kansas State: “Coach Frazier and I talk all of the time,” he said. “He tells me all the time that they need some dogs with killer instinct and that I fit that role perfectly.”

Seton Hall: “Coach Willard and I don't talk all that much, but when we do it is always a great experience,” he said. “Coach Grant and I talk all of the time and we speak about things outside of basketball as I know it's not all about basketball.”

Perry has made visit plans that will take place in the near future.

“I will be taking an official visit to Temple from September 1st to the 3rd,” he told MADEHoops. “I will also go on an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech on August 27th and take an official visit there starting on September 24th.”
