Standouts from Session Two of the Under Armour Association

The Under Armour Association took place in Indianapolis this past weekend. This event showcased some of the top talent throughout the country.

Anfernee Simons | Class of 2018 (Team Breakdown)

The Louisville commit asserted himself from the jump in each of his games. Simons has established himself as one of the best playmakers in his class. He showed elite scoring ability and knew when to get his teammates involved. He and Elijah Weaver are one of the top backcourt duos throughout the Under Armour circuit. Simons’ best performance came against the Houston Defenders, where he scored 27 points with 18 of them coming from three.

Jermaine Harris | Class of 2018 (DC Premier)

Harris has always shown potential, but was definitely one of the breakout performers for the weekend. With his athleticism and improved skill set, he has multiple high major schools offering him or showing interest. Standing at 6’8” with a strong frame, Harris is hard to contain in the paint especially with how well he has improved. Since the live period started, he has added offers from Georgia, Georgetown, Miami and Xavier.

Jahvon Quinerly | Class of 2018 (Sports U)

Sports U point guard Jahvon Quinerly shined in every game he played this past weekend. He impacted the game in a variety of ways, but his feel for the game may have been the most impressive. Quinerly put his teammates in good positions to score and knew when to score himself. He averaged 22 points per game on the session. He, Luther Muhammad, Nazreon Reid and Atiba Taylor all played a big role in Sports U’s 3-0 session.

Jaiden Delaire | Class of 2019 (CBC)

CBC class of 2019 forward Jaiden Delaire was one of the most intriguing 16u prospects. He has good size with a solid skill set. Delaire played a lot on the perimeter, which made him hard to guard for other forwards going against him. He only holds two offers from Iona and UMass, but that should change soon if he keeps playing at this level.

Quick Notes

-Class of 2019 SF Gibson Jimmerson from the DC Blue Devils had a great performance against the Florida Vipers where he scored 31 points. Jimerson is a very good shooter and knocked down nine threes in this game.

-Sports U power forward Nazreon Reid performed well in each of his three games. Reid played hard and was dominant on the perimeter and the paint at times.
