Class of 2018 guard Anthony Nelson
Anthony Nelson told MADE Hoops that he has committed to Seton Hall. Nelson is the Pirates’ second commitment for the class of 2018 joining Darnell Brodie. Nelson gives Seton Hall a floor general that can score the ball various ways. He was also considering Minnesota and Dayton, but Nelson felt at home with Seton Hall. He broke down why he went with the Pirates.
“I have decided to commit to Seton Hall University,” he told MADEHoops. “I felt that Seton Hall is a good place for me on and off the court and I also like that it is close to home.”
Nelson now plans to recruit his former AAU teammate Jared Rhoden to Seton Hall as he is heavily considering them.
“I’ll be trying to recruit Jared Rhoden next,” Nelson said. “I actually called him a couple hours after I made my decision and told him to the make the move as well.”
Seton Hall has done a good job developing their guards. Nelson looks forward to taking advantage of that same development when he gets onto campus.
“I am most looking forward to developing my game there,” he said. “I also can’t wait to take the floor with my future teammates.”
