2025-26 West Winter Circuit S3 6th Grade Sunday Storylines & Superlatives

Brock Meyer, AZ Legends 2032

MADE Hoops West Winter Circuit Session 3 closed out on Sunday with another strong day of performances from the 6th Grade Division.

Here’s a look at some of the storylines and superlatives from Day 2 in Seal Beach, CA:

Frolich Sports Academy Edges AZ Takeoff in a Thriller

This matchup was close from start to finish, with the two teams trading runs. Frolich Sports Academy came away with the win, but had to battle to the final buzzer, 29-27.

AZ Takeoff 2032 played urgently, making a late push that kept the game close. Their effort and physicality pressured Frolich, demanding execution on each possession.

Kenyan Byrd was the difference for AZ Takeoff. His size, scoring, and physical presence stood out while he consistently impacted the game and made key plays.

For Frolich, Jaxon Banayad set the defensive tone. A true ace, Banayad took tough matchups, made key stops, and stepped up on offense. His two-way play helped secure the win.
All Covered Prospects Dominated vs. Oakland Soldiers.

The game started as a back-and-forth contest, with All Covered Prospects (ACP) leaning heavily on Caleb Johnson to carry the load on both ends. Johnson did everything asked of him early, keeping ACP competitive with his rebounding, scoring, and physical dominance.

However, the game changed dramatically when the ACP asserted its presence in the interior. They took control in the paint, overwhelming defenders and blowing the game wide open. From there, the ACP seized momentum and never looked back, pulling away to a convincing 26-point win.

Despite the loss, All Covered showed flashes, especially during Johnson’s dominant stretches and Jordan Starr’s shooting.
All Covered Prospects Escape Style 6 Blue in an exciting game.

This was a competitive game between two disciplined teams. Style 6 Blue showed its unselfish passing and versatility early, building a 10-point halftime lead.

All Covered Prospects responded by handling Style’s 1-2-2 press with maturity and purpose. Rather than settling for rushed threes, ACP attacked the press, got into the paint, and leaned on their strength inside. That approach kept them within striking distance.

The turning point occurred when Caleb Johnson took over in the second half, making plays, scoring when needed, and shifting momentum. Style stayed competitive behind strong guard play, but All Covered Prospects’ physicality and late-game execution allowed them to escape with a three-point win.

For Style 6, Nasir Richardson stood out as a fearless and dynamic scorer. His size and athleticism made him hard to contain, while his poise at guard provided stability.

Az Legends Down the Rose City Rebels in a Closely-Fought Matchup

AZ Legends showed why they are tough, playing fundamentally sound basketball with strong shooting and several playmakers. Their execution and spacing challenged the Rebels’ defense.

Guard Brock Meyer set the pace with scrappy play and a lethal jump shot. Aidan Amini became the offensive catalyst, showing high-IQ, inside-out playmaking, and keeping the offense flowing.

Rose City Rebels fought behind the fearless play of Isaac Hairston, a quick, attacking point guard who consistently put pressure on the defense. Hairston’s penetration and toughness kept the Rebels competitive, even as the Legends’ balance and shooting proved decisive.
