2025 Midwest Clash: Saturday Fastbreak Five

The 2025 Midwest Clash tipped off in Chesterfield, Missouri on Saturday and the action was fast and furious throughout the first first day. A number of top programs from all different circuits and states converged at the Chesterfield Sports Complex for a weekend filled with high level hoops. MADE breaks down some of the top players from day one.

Ian Thomas | 2026 Guard | Midpro South (IL)

A talented 6-foot-3 combo guard who can glide to the rim off the dribble, hit catch and shoot threes, or kick out to open shooters, Thomas has an ideal offensive skillset for the modern game. He looks like he can put some more muscle on and become even more dynamic, which could take his game to yet another level.

Chief Cameron | 2026 Guard | KY Ambition (KY)

Cameron is a quick lead guard who was always looking to get his teammates the ball in places to score. The floor general loves to knife his way through the lane before leaving it to his big men to finish. He had several nice finds off the bounce, and would have had several more if his teammates weren’t caught off guard by some of his reads and passes. He will be one to watch on the Challenger Circuit.

Goay Gatwech | 2027 Wing | Factory United (NE)

A rangy 6-foot-6 wing with the ability to knock down threes or attack off the dribble, Gatwech’s offensive versatility allows him to create mismatch issues and put up points in bunches. He started off strong against Team Unknown and kept up the run of form from there.

Lucas Thompson | 2028 Guard | Midpro South (IL)

A big guard with good passing ability, Thompson has been given the reins of a talented Midpro 15U team this season. He showcased the full offensive arsenal, scoring from beyond the arc, putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim, or finding teammates for easy looks. It will be interesting to see what he does with the rest of the AAU season.

Bryce Millien | 2028 Guard | WeR1 Premier (MO)

Equal parts scorer and distributor, Millien did a great job of getting his teammates touches and spreading the ball around while remaining a threat to score himself. A quick and shifty guard who gets up and down the floor in a blur, Millien looks to be the straw that stirs the drink for a talented WeR1 group that will look to compete for the title at the 15U level of the MHC.
