Brown made a few plays on Day 1 but Day 2 he was a problem. He was scoring from all three levels, hitting contested shots and constantly put pressure on the defense. The prep guard was aggressive, played with confidence, created some steals and hit a bunch of threes. This young man has upside, experience, knows his role and should be a major piece for the NE Revolt the rest of the way. Now that he’s moved back to 2026 and will attend St. Andrew’s expect his recruitment to start to take off especially coaches get to see him more.
Hynes was front and center for the Day 1 top performers and once again was good enough to crack the list. The NEPSAC bound forward has tremendous footwork, understands angles, has a nice touch and can finish with either hand. He’s got a great basketball IQ, rebounds well, moves the ball and yesterday knocked down a ton of threes. His value is continuing to rise and we look forward to seeing programs in the Ivy and Patriot League get involved in his recruitment.
The physical guard for Metro Boston MHC caught our eye in the 17U division. He’s built like a running back, makes threes, can’t be stopped when going down hill and has a couple of impressive finishing moves. While they’re a few inefficiencies in his game he checks off a lot of boxes and puts a premium on contributing to winning. His stock should continue to rise during the spring as colleges get to see his versatility and potential.
Dante Baither | 2027 Guard | Team Spartans (MA)
Sledge was All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention this past year at Winchendon and is still looking for a college home. He’s got a great handle, creates his own shot, has a great stroke from downtown and is tough guard for opponents. His floor vision is excellent, he’s quick, not afraid to attack the paint and gets others involved. Metro Boston MHC could be a very tough team to beat especially when Sledge is at his best.
