Kayden Edwards: Edwards recently made the jump to #31 in our rankings and he’s been highly productive in EYBL play. He’s a quick-twitch athlete who leverages acceleration bursts to beat defenders with ease. His craft & touch at the rim is evident, however he’s made strides as a shotmaker that have popped out. Edwards is a capable self-creator whose comfortable pulling jumpers off the bounce when he generates enough space to do so. He’s fluid as a spot-up shooter and the offensive versatility has been glaring in his game. Defensively, he’s a scrappy on-ball defender who can apply extensive pressure and he utilizes his quick hands to force turnovers when possible.
Chris Cenac Jr: Cenac Jr was full of flashes at The Warmup back in early April where he first popped onto our radar. He’s an explosive and rangy athlete who brings imminent versatility on the defensive end. His ample ground coverage, disruptive length, & defensive feel allow him to rack up stocks at a high rate. Offensively, Cenac Jr’s ground coverage translates to the offensive end where he can exploit bigs off the bounce. He’s shown some floorspacing flashes, although majority of his damage is done inside the arc. Look out for the Louisiana native to continue to rise over the next few months as he continues to develop.
