2025 Philly Spring Clash: 16U-15U Satuday Fastbreak Five

The 2025 edition of MADE Hoops Philly Clash started strong. A handful of teams picked up big MHC and Challenger Circuit wins as some of the top independent programs in the regions went at it in preparation for next weekend’s live period.  MADE takes a closer look at five of the top performers from Saturday’s action.

Ethan-Mekhi Bennings | 2027 Wing | Team Takeover Showcase (DC)

An intriguing wing who appears to just be scratching the surface of his considerable potential, Benning was great against the DC Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon. At 6-foot-6 and growing, Bennings was just as effective slashing to the rim as he was shooting the ball. He will be a player to monitor moving forward.

Daquan Stratton | 2027 Forward | Team Final Black (PA)

Another emerging forward, Stratton did a majority of his damage around the rim but showcased some interesting faceup ability, as well as got to the rim off the bounce on several occasions. Stratton played extremely hard on Saturday and also proved to be a good rebounder and defender. It will be interesting to see what he does with the rest of the grassroots season.

Eddison Floyd | 2028 Guard | DC Blue Devils (DC)

Through the first few weeks of the MHC season, Floyd has been one of the big winners. A 6-foot-3 scorer who first hopped onto the radar at East Warmup, playing 15U, Floyd has been so good that he’s already moved up to the 16U team. The end result? More of the same for the three level scorer, who was highly impressive in a close win vs Team Final Black. While it’s early, Floyd is certainly a prospect to know in the coming years.

Rashard Miller | 2028 Forward | York Ballers (PA)

A 6-foot-6 combo forward, Miller is highly intriguing. He plays on the perimeter offensively and showcases good shotblocking instincts. He came out of the gates with a purpose against VA Elite, blocking a couple of shots, hitting a three, and finishing at the rim in the early going before continuing to find ways to impact the game. The York Ballers 15U team has established itself as one of the title contenders and Miller is a big reason why.

Evan Ciaburri | 2028 Wing | VA Elite (VA)

Ciaburri has good size for the wing and a smooth shot from beyond the arc. He has a quick and compact release and doesn’t need much room to get his shot off. He helped keep VA Elite in the game against York before the Ballers would ultimately run away, but Ciaburri has the skill and size to develop into a scholarship level player in time.
