The AAU season is right around the corner, and the class of 2026 looks more than ready to take center stage on the grassroots front. Colleges will be extending more offers as their focus turns from filling out next year’s roster to the next wave of prospective players. Deptford (NJ) Swingman Jordan Williams is looking forward to the opportunity to show the development in his game Originally a member of the junior class, Williams will opt for a post-grad year and join the ranks of 2027. The talented scorer averaged a team high 15.5 points after becoming more of an off the ball player, and now looks poised for new heights.
“ The high school season was good for me the work I put in over the offseason really showed and my numbers increased a lot, I transitioned more into a wing this year and was scoring efficiently on all 3 levels, so now I look forward to just getting better and improving my game this AAU season and winning with my team and making a name for ourselves” said Williams.
Playing with Team Final Black, Williams will have a chance to showcase his game on the 16U level and play his game in front of college coaches.
“ The goal is to win the MHC circuit or, at the very least, to finish top three . Winning games and showing the other teams that we are a legitimate program with real talent is what will make this season successful, the main goal is to win as many games as possible and make sure everyone on the team has an impact,” he said.
As far as his recruitment goes, Williams is still familiarizing himself with college programs and vice versa. A number of schools at various levels of competition have reached out and will see the talented scorer on the MADE Hoops Circuit. While he’s yet to narrow in on specific programs, Williams does have some idea of what he’s looking for in a college program.
“ I’m looking for a program that will help develop me into my fullest potential and a coach who wants me and makes me feel at home when I visit the school, I want a well coached team that will help me win and become a better person and player during my time spent there to hopefully further my basketball career,” Williams said.
Keep an eye out for the talented wing scorer in the coming months. If Team Final is going to make a championship run, they’ll need a big boost from their latest addition to an already talented team.
