2024 MADE Recruiting Report Part One: It’s been a busy few weeks on the recruiting trail as the contact period opened for 2025 prospects last week and there was a live period held over the weekend. Here, we break down some new updates while focusing on rising seniors in the 2024 class. Stay tuned in the upcoming days for more reports focusing on the 2025 and 2026 class.
Utah State is the latest to offer Top-115 2024 wing James Evans. Long & fluid athlete who has flashed a diverse shot profile throughout the spring/summer. Physical slasher at the point of attack who leverages just aggression to get downhill. He’s put together some impressive flashes for Paul George Elite on the EYBL Circuit. The West Ranch (CA) product is a potential stockriser to keep an eye on out West.
Vermont is the latest to offer 2024 guard Jeremiah Jenkins. Heady floor general who tends to excel in a “game-manager” type of role offensively. Scrappy on-ball defender who is laterally quick & disrupts opposing ball handlers with his tight pressure. The Connecticut native holds offers from Boston College, Wyoming, UMass, & more.
Penn State is the latest to offer Top-120 2024 big man Trent Burns. The Texas native also recently took an official visit to Purdue. Long & wiry athlete who has flashed appealing floorspacing upside. Instinctual rim protector who possesses disruptive length & strong positional size at 7’2”. He’s been one of the biggest stockrisers nationwide this spring & summer. He’s added offers from Stanford, Mizzou, Texas A&M, Purdue, Nebraska and more this spring alone.
Iowa is the latest to offer Top-95 2024 guard Jaeden Mustaf. Well-built & tough athlete that provides a notable two-way impact on the floor. Physical ball handler at the point of attack who is highly difficult to contain in the open floor. Continues to flash a growing feel this spring on the EYBL Circuit with Boo Williams. The North Carolina native holds offers from Indiana, Miami, NC State, Maryland, and more.
Virginia Tech & Nebraska are the latest to offer 2024 wing Isaiah Johnson-Arigu. The Minnesota native is a mismatch machine who can score the ball inside & out. Powerful & athletic finisher who has the strength to convert plays at the rim. Skilled face-up scorer who continues to flash a growing shot profile. Butler, Stanford, Loyola Chicago, Northwestern, and more have already offered the Totino Grace (MN) product.
Mizzou & Penn State are the latest to offer Top-35 2024 guard Bishop Boswell. The Team CP3 product is a well-rounded lead guard who affects the game in numerous facets. Thrives in an opportunistic scoring role with his mature & composed approach. Willing playmaker with a high feel, plus he’s a capable shooter off the bounce. Houston, Georgetown, Xavier, Wake Forest, & more have offered the North Carolina native.
FGCU & Indiana State are the latest to offer 2024 forward Dylan Warlick. Fundamentally sound & versatile offensive weapon who can score inside-out. Tough finisher in the paint/post who is unphased by contact or bigger rim protectors. The Oklahoma native has been highly productive this spring & he’s an underrated frontcourt prospect to keep an eye out for this summer.
California is the latest to offer Top-125 2024 wing Micah Robinson. He’s put together a strong AAU season for Southern Assault and he could see a rise in our rankings next update. Explosive & bouncy athlete who has made evident growth as a spot-up shooter over the last few months. Productive slasher who is a capable grab & go threat in the open floor as well. Arizona State, Texas Tech, & more have offered the Oak Hill (VA) product.
Nicholls State is the latest to offer 2024 wing Tyonne Farrell. Lengthy wing who played well at Session Four of the Nike EYBL in Memphis. Leverages long strides while using minimal dribbles to slash downhill. Hard-nosed, rugged finisher who is reliable with his strong hand in the paint. Towson & UMBC have also offered the Maryland native.
Marquette is the latest to offer Top-90 2024 frontcourt prospect Josh Hill. The Wheeler (GA) product has added offers from Mercer, Loyola Maryland & California in May alone. Possesses an intriguing physical profile given his blend of fluidity & length for a prospect his size (6’11”). Shows glimpses of floorspacing upside with a smooth jumper in spot-up situations and the pick & roll. A high-upside prospect with plenty of upside to tap into to keep over the next few years.
St. Louis is the latest to offer 2024 wing Daniel Johnson. The Illinois native played well at the NEPSAC Showcase recently with Brewster Academy (NH). He’s a well-built & rangy athlete who continues to flash growing polish on the offensive end. Skilled face-up scorer who is a powerful & aggressive finisher. He could potentially see an uptick in his recruitment within the next year.
Illinois is the latest to offer Top-60 2024 wing Jackson McAndrew. He continues to be prioritized by a variety of high majors, including Xavier, Creighton, Wisconsin and numerous others. At 6’9” with a high level feel for the game, the Minnesota Native spaces the floor at an efficient clip (41.5% on 130 attempts in the EYCL) while also taking big steps forward as a handler and athlete. McAndrew has been on a few campuses over the last few weeks and should continue to garner buzz.
Texas is the latest to offer Top-35 2024 big man Nicolas Codie. The fast-rising frontcourt prospect has added offers from Kansas, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Houston, & more this spring. High-motor & tough athlete that continues to flash floorspacing upside as a stretch-four. The Texas native has been a prominent stockriser & there’s a lot to like moving forward.
Top-130 2024 wing Bryce Dortch recently committed to Rutgers over Virginia Tech & Temple. The Massachusetts native is a long & fluid athlete who has proven to be a switchable defender. Leverages ample ground coverage to defend in space, run the floor, or attack the rim with minimal dribbles. Possesses evident touch as a finisher & he’s grown much more comfortable as a spot-up shooter throughout his HS career.
Penn State is the latest to offer Top-35 2024 guard Labaron Philon. The Alabama native decommitted from Auburn back in April, although he’s still considering the Tigers. Smooth, well-rounded lead guard with a strong balance of scoring & playmaking. Creates advantages with ease and thrives when he lets the game come to him. He’ll be attending Link Academy (MO) for his senior season and he’ll have no shortage of suitors at the next level.
Hofstra, Vermont, Towson, Richmond, & multiple others have offered Nick Coval this past week. The stock rising guard is a prominent shotmaker out of Pennsylvania. Highly skilled scorer with a quick release off the catch & extensive range/touch. Capable pull-up scorer who can step into mid-range jumpers inside the arc. An underrated piece on a dynamic Team Final 2024 group.
Buffalo is the latest to offer 2024 big man Jacob Hogarth. The Middlesex Magic product recently played well at the NEPSAC Showcase. A high-motor & physical athlete who is a capable face-up scorer. Possesses the range to stretch the floor when given the space, plus he is a rugged finisher through contact in the paint. A frontcourt prospect to keep an eye on in the Northeast at South Kent School (CT).
Michigan, UConn, & Kansas are the latest to offer Top-20 2024 wing Billy Richmond after he put up some big numbers at Philly Live I. Highly consistent & tough prospect who provides a prominent two-way impact. Physical slasher, rugged finisher, & a capable pull-up scorer whose flashed growing feel as a live dribble playmaker. Possesses the foot speed to defend in space, plus he plays with a relentless motor on both ends of the floor. The Camden (NJ) product keeps trending upwards and college coaches are taking notice.
USC is the latest to offer Top-75 2024 wing Jahki Howard. He’s been a steady two-way producer for a talent filled New Heights Lightning 2024 group. Bouncy & explosive athlete who thrives at playing in the open floor. Dangerous grab & go threat who has shown noticeable development as a spot-up shooter. Memphis, UConn, NC State, & more have offered the Boston native.
USC is the latest to offer Top-55 2024 big man Makhan Diouf. High-upside frontcourt prospect with a rare combination of physical tools & movement skills. Long, high-motor, & mobile athlete who is an explosive finisher at the rim. Fluid floor-spacer who has the foot speed & movement skills to exploit slower bigs off the bounce. Still sharpening his handle & adding polish, yet the flashes are legitimate. UCSB, Washington State, Xavier, UNLV, & more have offered.
Binghamton & Merrimack are the latest to offer Jake Lemelman. Underrated rising senior was highly productive at the NEPSAC Showcase this past weekend. Crafty, skilled combo guard with extensive shooting range & touch. Scores from multiple levels while demonstrating a strong feel with the ball in his hands. The MacDuffie School (MA) product could see some more schools enter his recruitment this summer.
