Babson College: The NEPSAC Showcase always hosts a wide collection of talent, plus you can rely on some new names & late-bloomers to emerge during this live period event. There were close to 200 college coaches in attendance on Day One and more continued to fill out the gym throughout the weekend. Read more for extensive analysis on some prospects who caught my eye.

Nigel James
2025 | Guard | Cushing Academy (MA)

The stockrising floor general currently sits in the Top-90 in our 2025 rankings and he could certainly rise in their next update. He’s an ultra-quick lead guard who is loaded with burst & counter moves at the point of attack. Leverages his wiggle & speed to create advantages with ease for pull-up jumpers. Capable shotmaker whose range extends out to the perimeter, plus he has plenty of craft & touch as a finisher at the rim. Willing playmaker that also demonstrated his ability to pass out of traffic, help defense or blitzes. Marquette, Providence, St. John’s, George Mason, & more have offered the Long Island native.

Keyshaun Tillery
2025 | Guard | New Hampton School (NH)

Tillery continues to produce this summer regardless of the platform or setting. He’s another ultra-quick floor general with an efficient pull-up prowess inside the arc. Smooth shooter off the bounce who leverages his speed & tight crossovers to create advantages. Put constant pressure on the rim and flashed his flexibility when finishing through traffic. He could be set to enter our 2025 rankings if he continues to keep it up this summer. North Carolina A&T, Hampton, Bryant, & Temple are the latest to offer the City Rocks product.

Desmond Bellot
2026 | Guard | CATS Academy (MA)

Bellot strung together some impressive showings over the weekend while displaying his balance of scoring & playmaking. Poised ball handler who plays at a composed pace & takes advantage of what the defense gives him. Thrives in an opportunistic scoring role, plus he made multiple strong reads with the ball in his hands. Fluid pull-up scorer who made defenders pay for going under screens. As he continues to improve his consistency on the perimeter & bulk up his frame there’s plenty to like moving forward.

Khalil Badru
2024 | Guard | Newman School (MA)

Badru was an under the radar wing guard who had some intriguing flashes on both ends of the floor. He’s a bouncy & malleable athlete who provided a notable two-way impact for the Newman School (MA). Explosive handler at the point of attack who is highly difficult to contain in the open floor. Powerful finisher loaded with pop who wasn’t afraid of contact or bigger rim protectors. Flashed some switchability by defending in space against guards, plus he was able to wall-off opposing wings.

Kayvaun Mulready
2024 | Guard | Worcester Academy (MA)

The Georgetown commit flashed expanding range while providing his usual two-way productivity for Worcester Academy (MA) over the weekend. Well-built & tough athlete who has blossomed into a multilevel scorer over the last few years. He’s a multipositional prospect who showed more of his ability to play on the ball with his high school team in this setting. Proved to be a tough rebounder who wasn’t afraid to play physical with bigger opponents on the glass. Ed Cooley & staff were very wise by making it a priority for Mulready to follow en route to Georgetown.

CJ Cox
2024 | Guard | Milton Academy (MA)

The Middlesex Magic product was another backcourt prospect who popped over the weekend. Skilled lead guard that showcased a strong balance of scoring & playmaking as well. Fluid pull-up shooter who had no issue creating advantages with tight crossovers & swift changes of pace. Attacked closeouts with speed & counter moves, plus he was efficient when finishing with his dominant hand at the rim. Tough on-ball defender who is laterally quick & light on his feet. Radford, Penn, Holy Cross, Boston University, & more have offered.

Chris Powell
2026 | Guard | Westminster School (CT)

The rising sophomore played well for Westminster School (CT) during his time at the NEPSAC Showcase. Long & fluid athlete who thrived at pushing the ball in the open floor. Flexible finisher at the rim who had the touch to finish through tight windows in traffic. Smooth & reliable spot-up scorer on the perimeter who can take advantage of space or missed rotations. The City Rocks product is one to keep an eye out for this summer at Peach Jam.

TJ Allen
2027 | Guard | St. Sebastian’s (MA)

The rising freshman picked up his first offer over the weekend from Albany. Poised & shifty ball handler who provided paint touches at a high volume. Opportunistic playmaker who delivered some flashy & accurate passes through tight windows on the drive. Showed glimpses of his shotmaking ability by connecting on an array of self-created jumpers. The Massachusetts native is a notable player to keep an eye on in the Northeast.

Kingston Walker
2024 | Guard | Loomis Chaffee (CT)

Walker popped onto my radar this weekend and he’s an underrated wing guard. Lengthy & fluid athlete who was effective playing on or off the ball. Utilized a long first step to gain ground when attacking closeouts off the bounce. Crafty finisher at the rim who had evident touch in the lane. Popped as a defensive playmaker when leveraging his length to jump passing lanes. Bryant, Gardner-Webb, & Albany have offered, although it’s possible some more could come Walker’s way.

Allyn Wright
2025 | Guard | St. George’s School (RI)

Wright is a consistent downhill playmaker who is a high-level floor mapper with strong instincts. Pin-point passer with advanced pace & feel as a primary ball handler. Converted an array of touch-finishes & floaters in the lane after beating closeouts with his burst. Developing shooter who is still expanding his range, although the playmaking & feel popped most. The Connecticut native is another backcourt prospect to look out for in the Northeast.

Jake Lemelman
2024 | Guard | MacDuffie School (MA)

Lemelman is an underrated rising senior who took full advantage of the platform by showing out for MacDuffie School (MA). He’s a skilled left-handed guard who showcased a versatile scoring package over the weekend. Knockdown spot-up shooter who also flashed growing confidence as an off the dribble scorer. Crafty finisher at the rim who leveraged his touch to convert contested layups through traffic. Flashed a strong feel with the ball by delivering one-hand & pin-point passes to stay ahead of the defense.
