Getting to Know ’25 Forward Xavier McLean

Junior Orangeville Prep forward Xavier McLean really put his name on the map this past week at the Jordan Holiday Classic. He took home MVP honors in a narrow 63-60 win over Roselle Catholic where he scored 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting and 3-of-4 from downtown and also made his presence felt on the defensive end. At his core he’s a lengthy shooter that knows how to hunt his preferred shots and impacts the game from a catch and shoot perspective. Below, he talks his early recruitment, which I expect to pick up quickly.
