This article features point guard Elijah Godbolt of Albany Academy and the NE Revolt MHC. He was the top player in the New England Warmup last weekend and he answered a few questions we had about his basketball future. Godbolt is definitely a name on the rise and a player all D1 programs should at least check out.
Can you tell us about your season last year?
“My season last year was a big success. I won player of the year and my team won the city private school championships
How much has Coach Clark helped your game?
“Coach Clark has helped me a ton with recruitment and getting my name out there. He’s not just my coach he’s family”
What are your thoughts on the MADE Hoops Circuit?
“The MADE Hoops Circuit is the best of both worlds as it has elite competition and a ton of college coaches which is what every kid wants.”
How good is this NE Revolt squad? Also who are some guys on the squad we should look out for
“Our squad is very talented as we have pretty much the top guy on every local team in our area. Have to look out for our whole team because everyone can play and anyone can go off at any time which makes our team so special.”
Godbolt just capped off a tremendous high school career and is looking at the potential of going to 2026. He has several programs interested in him at the moment but his strong play along with the rumors have started to attract some new suitors. Northeastern just offered him, he was the top guard at the New England Warmup and is built for a monster offseason.
His stock should continue to rise especially if he lands a spot with a big time prep. A few more D1s may get involved to try and get ahead of the rush. The NE Revolt is also prepped to turn a lot of heads on the circuit and this coaching staff seems to have constructed a terrific roster.
